the community forge

The Community Forge is a group of friends that are passionate about great beer and great conversation. We partnered with our friends at Oak Hill Iron Works in Morganton, NC, and while they were handcrafting these for our loyal patrons, we returned the favor by handcrafting an Oak Hill Iron Scotch Ale. Each Community Forge member receives their own numbered, hand-forged stainless steel 20oz mug, designed for maximum levels of style and hydration. Membership in The Community Forge renews every January, and is limited to 100 members FOREVER. Each member receives:

  • A 20 oz hand-forged stainless steel mug, numbered for each member.

  • All regular-gravity pints are poured in your mug, so you receive 20 ounces instead of 16, every pour.

  • Members-Only Parties are held in January and July, and are catered and free, including beer and pinball.

  • The opportunity to try new bottle releases before the general public.

  • 25% off all merchandise, every day.

Inquire anytime if there are slots available in The Community Forge; occasionally people move away or choose not to renew. Dues are $150/year and renewal is $100/year every January. Past members are given priority renewal.
